Building materials

LEHMAG sees itself as a construction company with a focus on the following sustainable building materials. Projects of all kinds are carried out with high motivation, on schedule and professionally. These materials and building materials described here are understood as the basis from which a wide range of solutions and areas of application are developed together with all those involved.

Building with loam and trass lime

Loam construction and the use of trass lime has many advantages. Below you will find why we should all build more with these materials.

Trass lime

Trass lime is a mixture of hydrated lime or marsh lime and ground trass, i.e. a natural pozzolan that sets in combination with water.

Renovations

In Switzerland and Central Europe, clay was also often used for building. Renovation work must be carried out professionally and in accordance with the preservation order is essential to protect this cultural asset.

Swiss rammed earth

Rammed earth is an earth-moist mixture of clay, silt, sand and gravel, which is rammed into a wall formwork layer by layer and without any further additives and which dries out in the air after direct stripping. A further possibility is the application as a floor, the rammed earth floor. LEHMAG AG uses regional and local resources from Switzerland for its rammed earth as far as possible.
For this purpose, LEHMAG AG analyses excavated soil itself and also offers this service externally.

Leka floor coverings

By means of rammed earth and the addition of lime, unique soils can be created. The surface can be unpolished or polished and is always sealed with natural wax or oil.

Loam panels

In dry construction, prefabricated clay panels can adequately replace the base plaster or environmentally harmful gypsum boards.

Clay plaster

Clay, silt and sand are prepared moist, plastic to a mixture for wall or ceiling plaster.
