LEHMBAR AND FURNITURE

The Aquarium Bar in the heart of Zurich has very special furniture made of earth. The rammed coffee tables and especially the bar are made of rammed earth. LEHMAG provided the expertise and delivered the formwork directly to Zentralstrasse, where the bar was then rammed on site. The material comes from the nearby Zurich Oberland. The clay bar can be experienced and visited for six weeks - after which all the clay can be directly reused or, if necessary, "disposed of" in the garden - all regenerative.
